Casillas said he'd been working hard at Madrid's Valdebebas training center to obtain straight back playing the moment possible.

"Until now I have perhaps not had much energy in it, but I am receiving it back little by little," he said. "We are at the halfway point of the injury. I have still got monthly to go. I'll need to work more and experience more to obtain right back the freedom of before. I'm getting excited about returning. It is worse being off the message than on it."

Former Liverpool person Alonso stated that, with the tie balanced at 1-1, whoever scored first in the Champions League last 16 reunite sport at Manchester United on March 5 would be favourites to advance.

"They could have the help of their fans," he said. "It will probably be described as a challenge. The side that results first is going to be favourites. Old Trafford is a great surface and it is the kind of match all of us like to play. The tie is extremely open."

Di Maria said that it could fit Madrid to be playing overseas in both of the future, potentially season-defining, activities.

"Things are getting well and hopefully to carry on this way," he explained. "We know that we've to have large matches in both competitions and that it'll perhaps not be easy.
