West Bromwich Albion U21 0 Tottenham Hotspur U21 4: Full-time match statement West Bromwich Albion Top-of-the-table Tottenham Hotspur cruised past Albion to go a straight defeat on the youngsters. Objectives from Nabil Bentaleb (two), Dean Parrett and Christian Ceballos ensured the group leaders maintained their good form and left Albion seated to the base of the Elite Group. Itas now six failures in seven for the Under-21s however it must be mentioned they're fighting against the best small clubs in the country. Spurs, meanwhile, are leading the way and have a truly talented bunch of young ones at their disposal. Spanish star Cebellos was inspirational in the victory at The Hawthorns yesterday. After only 90 seconds he volleyed around before team-mate Bentaleb converted Kenneth McEvoyas combination for the operator. Ben Huddlestone had a good game at the center of the park however it was Cebellos who excelled. His through-ball on 21 minutes performed in Parrett, who slotted past Luke Daniels. Wes Atkinson then brought down the silky-skilled winger inside the penalty spot and he quickly regained his composure to fire in the resulting spot-kick. Ceballos was at it again right after when he shot a powerful left-foot hit straight to Danielsa right-hand post from 20 yards. Bentaleb grabbed his second and Spursa next on 60 minutes after Ceballosa combination fell right on to his mind at the back post.
