The Basketball Jones spotted a hilarious billboard gracing a highly visible section of the Edens Expressway recently. Here, for your entertainment, is Joakim Noah extinguishing King James.
Normally, this would be the moment I would chastise fans for boasting long before a series is over. The last thing you want to do is motivate a team that hardly needs added incentive. New York Knicks, we are looking at you.
After a gritty Game 1 victory over the Miami Heat, one that saw a Bulls team hampered by injury get over the top seed, I say to hell with it.
The series continues again on Wednesday night, which gives you time to craft some more hilarity and get it onto a billboard that has been rather prolific with the jokes.
After some digging, we happened upon the Chicagoist post that gives us a bit more detail behind the comedic sign. Motorists in the area "can see the sign when you drive south on the Edens past Niles Center Road," according to the report.
Not only that, but you can see far more at a Flickr account dedicated to the wacky billboard that sits on the Command Transportation building.
The Bulls stole a game in Miami and hope to pull off another epic heist in Game 2. We are certainly hoping for just that, if only to see what the Command Transportation billboard has for us next.
