Cardinals POUND Daryl Washington Supposedly Suspended for Material Violation

Confident to atone for their nightmarish end to the 2012 year, the Arizona Cardinals is likely to be without perhaps their best defensive player for the first quarter of next year. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL introduced Wednesday that Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington has been stopped for the initial four games of 2013 for a breach of the league's drug use policy: Heading in to his fourth NFL time, Washington is coming off a breakout campaign in 2012. He concluded with 134 tackles and seven sacks on the way to producing his first Pro Bowl appearance and being named a second-team All-Pro.
