Birmingham United moved a step closer to regaining the Premier League prize with a cushty 2-0 win away at lowly Stoke City on Sunday. An early on target from Michael Carrick and a Robin van Persie charge wrapped up all three things for Sir Alex Fergusonas men, but they were rarely troubled with a disappointing Potters side who now find themsleves embroiled in a relegation fight to stay in Englandas top flight. Changes were made four by united sideways that has been beaten 2-1 by competitors Manchester City on Monday, with Antonio Valencia, Shinji Kagowa, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and Nemanja Vidic all coming into the starting XI. Potters key Tony Pulis also rung the changes after his side were effectively beaten by Aston Villa last time out, inviting Charlie Adam, Glenn Whelan and Andy Wilkinson back into the very first group.
