All the talk has been of the character of Juanito but JosA Mourinho was avoiding the ghosts of Real Madrid's past. Madrid enter their Champions League semi-final second leg against Borussia Dortmund needing to overcome a 4-1 shortage amid an ocean of motivational videos and lessons ever sold, the discussion centred on courage, center and environment, but Madrid's director preferred to concentrate on the thing that's been generally forgotten: the football. Mourinho has stayed out of the club strategies intended to heat up the environment and while he attacked his team for enjoying the first leg "as when it wasAa friendly", efficiently challenging that they spend fouls at the BernabAu, he shied from the mental story that has characterised the buildup to this sport.
